நேச்சுரல் ஸ்டார் நானி நடிப்பில், ஸ்ரீகாந்த் ஒடேலா இயக்கத்தில் பெரிதும் எதிர்பார்க்கப்படும் ‘தி பாரடைஸ்’ திரைப்படம் செப்டம்பர் 24-ஆம் தேதியன்று உலகெங்கும் திரையரங்குகளில் வெளியாகிறது. எவ்வித தாமதமுமின்றி குறித்த தேதியில் படம் திரைக்கு வரும் என்பதை உறுதிப்படுத்த படக்குழுவினர் பத்திரிகையாளர் சந்திப்பை நடத்தினர்.

Natural Star Nani’s much-awaited action extravaganza will be hitting the screens on September 24th. The team interacted with the media today, to clarify that they are working rigorously to release the movie on time, and there will be no further delay.
Sudhakar Cherukuri said, “There are all kinds of rumours doing the rounds about The Paradise. The movie is arriving on September 24th. We are very happy with the way things have shaped up.”
Srikanth Odela said, “The Paradise may have been delayed a little, but every update from the film has created a blast. The glimpse, teaser and songs have all received a superb response. There is a lot of excitement and curiosity among audiences about what The Paradise is all about. This is a revolutionary emotional film. It is a story about a mother and son, and also about a marginalized community. Kaloji has a line that goes, ‘We own our birth, we own our death, but our entire life belongs to the nation.’ This is the story of people who fought for their country, but when they realised they had no place in that very country, they fought back without knowing what else to do. That is the story of The Paradise.
Personally, I feel a film like this is better experienced without a trailer. I think the theatrical experience will be completely different that way. The film’s final cut is 2 hours and 49 minutes long.”
Nani said, “We are finally arriving on September 24th. We have missed the release date twice, and naturally, we had several fears. But every update from the film has received an overwhelming response. In a way, that has increased our responsibility and tension. We have developed a strong belief that this film has a destiny of its own, as if something has already been written for it.
Once the September 24th release date was locked, the entire team started working 24/7. Even we don’t know what we are going to do over the next 10 days. But I can say one thing: when you come to theatres with good expectations, we are going to make every effort to give you a solid adrenaline rush and a great high. We are presenting Srikanth’s vision on a grand scale. There won’t be a trailer for The Paradise. The team is working extremely hard to bring the film to theatres on time. Due to time constraints, we decided not to release a trailer.
Srikanth has a very strong ear for music. He knows exactly which singer is required for a particular song and what the song needs. He records a voice and sends it to Anirudh. Even I cannot imagine how it is going to sound when it finally plays in theatres. In this social media era, we tend to put boundaries on everything. Srikanth doesn’t care about any of that. He is a mad guy who believes that whatever he wants to do is the right thing, and he doesn’t worry about what others think. That is a great quality. The Paradise took more time than we initially anticipated. There were many reasons for that. We succeeded in delivering everything we wanted to say through the film, but we fell a little short when it came to time management.
One day, Srikanth came to me and said he was unable to manage his time properly. He even told me, ‘You know Rajamouli, right? I’ll join him as an assistant director and learn how to manage things.’ The fact that he recognised his weakness and was willing to learn made me feel extremely proud of him. You need a stubborn person to make a film like The Paradise. Otherwise, a film like this would never get made. If stubbornness has a good purpose behind it, there is nothing wrong with it.
Making the Telangana setting authentic was the biggest challenge in both Dasara and The Paradise. Srikanth and his team took great care in every aspect. More than the dances, executing the complicated action sequences with the dreadlocks was extremely challenging.
Along with me, Sampoo and many others from our gang suffered injuries. You will see our hardships on screen. Everyone gave their all, and you can literally see their blood on the screen.
Srikanth Odela’s new favourite is Mohan Babu. There were many rumours about him. But once you travel with him, you will fall in love with him. He has a very childlike heart.
After the teaser release, I heard the feedback. There is a scene where I scream at the top of my voice. When you watch it as part of the film’s flow, you will feel the emotion behind it. We made this film wholeheartedly and did everything that was necessary for it. The Paradise is the most tiring film of my career, both physically and mentally.
After watching the teaser, many people are assuming that The Paradise is an extremely violent film. But The Paradise is actually a beautiful mother-and-son story. More than the violence, you will feel the emotion behind that violence.”
